Statement from SCTCCCA to coaches - This was brought to our attention today and we contacted the SCHSL and the NFHS to get a clear ruling. This is what we were instructed about GPS watches.
"GPS watches are not legal to wear during an event (regardless if it is on or not). Any runner wearing a GPS watch WILL BE disqualified from the event. No warning will be issued per NFHS policy."
