Furman elite mile coordinator Mickey McCauley announced Ryan Warrenburg, an Arizona State graduate, as pacer for the Furman Invitational Asics Elite Mile Thursday afternoon.
"Ryan is an Arizona State graduate and trains with Zap Fitness," said McCauley. "He has personal best times of 13:43 for the 5,000-meters and 8:39 for the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
We have asked Ryan to pace field thru 800 meters in 1:57 and hit the 1000-meter mark around 2:26/2:27."
The elite mile is schedule for 2 p.m. April 7 with a high school meet and 5,000 road race taking place in the morning and collegiate meet in the afternoon.
