MileSplit's girls national team of the week poll has Riverside girls listed as a nominee.
The Warriors finished first in Saturday's Lake Murray Invitational by 67 points and had four runners run under 19 minutes on the Crooked Creek Park 5,000-meter course. Riverside was led by Cate Ambrose. Ambrose ran to a personal best and state no. 1 time of 18 minutes, 7.91 seconds.
The girls are nationally-ranked eighth in the MileSplit team database.
