What did you hear about the Shrine Bowl Run before this year?
I heard that the Shriner Bowl Run was a very special privilege and that I would be honored to get the opportunity to do it.

What do you hope to experience on Dec. 20?
I hope to share my experience with others to raise awareness about the Shrine Bowl Run and Shriners Hospital.

How are you preparing to run with a football?
I am continuing my training even though out of season and I am practicing running with an actual football not a baton.

How would you rate your senior season?
My senior season has been my best cross country season yet. I broke national elite and made the All-State team.

What future goals do you have?
I want to be an All-American runner.

Have you made the decision to compete at the next level? Please explain.
Yes, I want to compete on a college level. I am looking at a few colleges such as: Catawba, Converse, and Southern Wesleyan.

How did you get involved with the sport and when?
I have ran track for five years and cross country for three. I started running because a friend wanted me to do track.

Do you have any relation or know someone that has attended the Shriners Hospital?
My younger cousin attended the Shriners Hospital to have a surgery on his toes.

How have you seen the sport change in the state? Please explain.
The girls have gotten faster and more competitive.

What was your motivation for your final XC season?
For my final XC season I wanted to break 19:45 and be All-State.

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
I would help any child with a neurological disease to walk.
