Easley senior Erin Barker has been named the female state winner of the 2007 Wendy's Heisman award.
Barker finished sixth in Class AAAA state meet on Nov. 3 in 18:56 and has been selected for the 2007 Shrine Bowl Run team.
The program, according to the official Web site, recognizes the nation’s most esteemed high school senior men and women for excellence in academics, athletics, and community/school involvement.
