Thirty-five units of blood were received Monday at Limestone College for Brittany Jefferson, who was injured in an accident last month, The Blood Connection representative Laura Stamm told scrunners.com.
"The final number was 35 units," said Stamm. "It was a gratifying event to be part of."
The event was organized by Limestone coach Kevin Vees and Stamm, a recruiting coordinator at The Blood Connection.
