What was your most memorable race/competition?
The Low Country Invitational.

Out of all your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?
To others, my largest accomplishment may be, being the 2015 SCISA 2A baseball state champions. But, to me, my largest accomplishment was probably running XC for my first year and doing as well as I did.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your athletic career in high school?
Without a doubt, I wish I would have started my running career at a younger age, rather than my final year of high school. I can thank XC and my team for some of my best memories from high school, and I feel like I missed out on so many fun times because I started so late.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
Learning to run and learning to finish your run, even when you don't feel like you can.

What will you miss the most?
My team and coaches. Like I said, there's so many great memories and we had so much fun.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
If you have even the slightest desire to do something or play a sport, do it!

How have your coaches influenced your performances and your life goals?
My coaches always had faith in me, even when I didn't have faith in myself. They taught me that I am always capable of doing better and they taught me to push myself.

What kind of impact did your family have on your time as a high school student-athlete?
My family was as supportive as I wanted them to be.

What are your college or post high school plans?
To attend College of Charleston and major in Historic Preservation And Community Planning. I also would like to get my masters in Architecture. Who knows, maybe while I'm in college I will try to join some sort of running team.

What do you hope to achieve after high school?
I hope to enjoy and do my best in college and to later graduate from college. I also hope get a good job, have a family, and maybe one day open my own business.

Do you see yourself coaching in the future? Please explain and if so, what level and why?
I've personally never thought of coaching in the future, but I have wanted to become a teacher which is along the same lines of coaching... so it is definitely something I would consider. If I did coach I would like to coach high school XC because that's what I know and love best.

Shout-Outs?
Shout-out to my XC and track team! Good luck next year, I will miss you!

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
I would like to travel around the world, learn about various cultures, and do my best to help those in need.
