I regret to inform you that this weeks scheduled SCTCCCA XC Rankings and the ROTW will be delayed (if not postponed). Our association has spent almost eight hours today, trying to get coaches to enter their teams into the S.C. State Cross Country Championships. The deadline was 11:59 p.m. Sunday evening.
This process is the same process as years passed and coaches used the same registration site they used for the qualifiers. Coaches are unable to follow entry guidelines (number of athletes) that have been the same the past three years. Emails were sent to coaches on Friday and Sunday as reminders.
I regret to inform athletes and parents, that schools with more than seven entries had athletes removed randomly. This may result in athletes names not being on the state championship t-shirts. This was completely the responsibility of your coach. If your name is missing, please address it with your coach or athletic director.
