What does it mean to be named to the Shrine Bowl Run team and helping the hospital?
It's an honor to run in the Shrine Bowl and I'm very grateful. Very few people get to experience something like this. Helping the hospital makes me feel very blessed to run this because I get to help others for just running a little!

What did you hear about the Shrine Bowl Run before this year?
Only positive things: it's fun, it's a great experience, it's helpful/healthy, and that it's an honor to be apart of.

What do you hope to experience during the event?
I want to have a good time and I want aid the cause.

How are you preparing to run with a football?
I have actually given this no thought, I guess I better start keeping a football with me for practice.

How would you rate your senior season?
I am very happy with what we have accomplished. Individually, I hoped to have a better season this year, although I am still content with my times.

What future goals do you have?

I am undecided as of right now as to where I want to go to college but I do hope to go to college and major in pre-med. I am also shooting for a great track season.

Have you made the decision to compete at the next level? Please explain.
I have not made that decision yet, it just depends on where I go to school, and if I could even run for that schools team.

How did you get involved with the sport and when?
Both of my sisters ran so I just kind of follow their footsteps and I got involved in the seventh grade.

Do you have any relation or know someone that has attended the Shriners Hospital?
I do not, but I'm still more than happy to run for the people at the hospital.

How have you seen the sport change in the state? Please explain.
When I ran in seventh grade it seemed that cross country was not as big of a deal as it is now, the sport has grown in participation for sure.

What was your motivation for your final XC season?
Getting college offers was a huge motivation, but I think the biggest motivation for me was the state championship because this was my last season and it was the first Class AAAAA state championship meet.

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
Travel around the world because there is so much out there to explore and I don't even know a fraction of it.
