What does it mean to be named to the Shrine Bowl Run team and helping the hospital?
Being named to the Shrine Bowl Run team is a great honor, especially knowing that we get to help out the Shriners Hospital in the process. Helping those in need is something that I strive to do and getting this opportunity means a lot to me.

What did you hear about the Shrine Bowl Run before this year?
I didn't know a whole lot about the Shrine Bowl Run other than the top seniors in our state get to participate.

What do you hope to experience during the event?
I hope to experience a productive time in helping others in the hospital while also enjoying my time with the fellow runners.

How are you preparing to run with a football?
I played some little league football back in the day so hopefully that comes in handy.

How would you rate your senior season?
I thought I ran a great season. Getting a PR in two of my final three races really meant a lot to me and I was glad to see success for myself and for my team. On a scale of 1-10 I would have to give it a 10, I enjoyed being around my great teammates and wouldn't change anything about the season.

What future goals do you have?
I hope to go through college with success and find a good job when I leave.

Have you made the decision to compete at the next level? Please explain.
I have not decided whether or not I will compete at the next level. A lot has to be taken into consideration and I hope to make a decision within the coming months.

How did you get involved with the sport and when?
I really just wanted to run track while I was in seventh grade, but after running my first season of track I found myself loving to run, so I decided to run cross country as well.

Do you have any relation or know someone that has attended the Shriners Hospital?
I don't believe I have any relation or know anyone who has attended the Shriners Hospital.

How have you seen the sport change in the state? Please explain.
The state has gotten a lot faster and although it makes it harder to win state, I find it a good thing because the higher level of competition pushes us all to new limits.

What was your motivation for your final XC season?
I wanted to walk away with no regrets. I wanted to give it my all while I was on the course and enjoy being with my friends because I knew I was going to miss it when it was all said and done.

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
If I could do one thing in the world, I would help those in third world countries by getting them food and clean water while also teaching them Christianity.
