I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to participle in this years Shrine Bowl Run. I am also thrilled to help the hospital in any way I can and hopefully make a lasting impact.

What did you hear about the Shrine Bowl Run before this year?
I heard about the Shrine Bowl Run through
SCRUNNERS articles that have been posted about it in previous years.

What do you hope to experience during the event?
I hope to meet new people and overall have a great time with some of the best runners in the state.

How are you preparing to run with a football?
I have been playing pick up games with my friends and my dad to make sure I don't drop the ball during the run.

How would you rate your senior season?
10/10. This season was my best yet. Being injured all of track with a stress fracture, I was extremely motivated to push myself to go beyond what I believed I could do.

What future goals do you have?
I hope to attend a four year college and major in marketing. After that, I hope to find a job involving marketing within sports.

Have you made the decision to compete at the
next level?
I would love to compete at the next level. It has always been something I've wanted to do since I started running. Hopefully, I can have a great track season and impress some colleges.

How did you get involved with the sport and when?
I got involved in the sport back in 2015 after running the Lexington Race Against Hunger. I really enjoyed it and decided that I should participate in cross country in the coming school year.

Do you have any relation or know someone that has attended the Shriners Hospital?
No, I do not.

How have you seen the sport change in the state? Please explain.
Personally, I have noticed that there seems to be more and more runners each year which is very exciting for the future of this sport in South Carolina.

What was your motivation for your
final XC season?
My biggest motivation was to bounce back from my injury and make my parents, teammates, and coaches proud.

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
Meet Mo Farah
. He's an incredible runner and it would be an honor to meet someone of that caliber.
