What does it mean to be named to the Shrine Bowl Run team and helping the hospital?
It is an honor to be chosen to carry the game ball and to help represent the Shriners Hospital, the Shrine Bowl, and my team.

What did you hear about the Shrine Bowl Run before this year?
I have heard about the pace that was run by the seniors of years prior.

What do you hope to experience during the event?
I hope to make a memory that will not be soon forgotten.

How are you preparing to run with a football?
Very carefully.

How would you rate your senior season?
It was a good season although I did not get as low of a time as I would of wanted. However, I was able to help my team win the state championship.

What future goals do you have?
I wish to graduate from college and start a business. As of now, I have no intention of furthering my running career.

Have you made the decision to compete at the next level? Please explain.
I most likely will not run at the next level because I want to focus on my studies as a college student.

How did you get involved with the sport and when?
My friends persuaded me to run in the seventh grade.

Do you have any relation or know someone that has attended the Shriners Hospital?
I do not.

How have you seen the sport change in the state? Please explain.
I have seen the sport get faster, especially in some lower divisions.

What was your motivation for your
final XC season?
I wanted to help my team win the state championship.

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
I would travel to into space to experience the sensation of zero gravity and to see the earth from a distance.
