The Region 2-AAAA Championships at Dorman has been rescheduled to Monday, meet director and Dorman coach Jeff Buys announced today.
The meet was postponed due to the closing of Mauldin High School today because of possible swine flu reports.
The meet was originally scheduled for today.
"Because this is the first round of the state meet series, missing this meet would mean that their athletes would be ineligible to compete in the Class AAAA qualifier or state meet," said Dorman coach and region director Jeff Buys. "In fairness to their athletes, we are looking at a reschedule date."
