Senior Hillcrest Ram Jennifer Hitt signed a National Letter of Intent with Anderson College today. Hitt will run cross-country and track at Anderson College.
Prior to choosing Anderson College Hitt made visits to Appalachian State, Elon, University of South Carolina and Winthrop.
Hitt has a cross-country database personal best of 19:05.44, set at the 2003 Coaches Classic on Sept. 13. Hitt also set a personal record of 5:29.43 at the 2003 State Championships and at least year\'s Greenville County Championships Hitt ran the 3200-meter event in 12:28.0.
Leroy Thomas is the head cross-country and track and field coach at Anderson. Anderson College is a D-II member of the Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference.
\"I just felt at home when I visited AC, plus I felt that I could make an immediate impact in the schools running program,\" said Hitt.
