10 Palmetto State Athletes Competing in Florida\'s Golden South Classic

10 track and field athletes from the state of South Carolina are competing in the Golden South Classic this Saturday in Orlando, Fla.

Graham Tribble, a junior at Ben Lippen (SCISA) is entered in the 3,000 meter event. Tribble entered with a 9:28 3200 seed time, set at the Taco Bell Classic. Tribble sealed three victories at the SCISA State Meet with record times of 2:02.29, 4:31.87 and 9:45.32.

Curt McGill, a Spartanburg Viking is entered in the 110 meter hurdles and high jump event. McGill finished seventh in the 100 hurdles at the State Championships.

India Drummond, also of Spartanburg is entered in the 100, 4x100, and 4x200.

Erica Peake, a freshman at Spartanburg High is entered in the triple jump with a entry distance of 33\'3.\" Peake is also entered in the long jump, pole vault and 4x200 events.

Santresa Jamison, a freshman at Sparantaburg High is entered in the 400, 4x200 and 4x400. Jamison finished fifth in the 400 at the State Championships in 58.98

Denesha Edwards, also of Spartanburg is entered in the 400, 4x400, and 4x200.

Tysha Smith, a freshman from Spartanburg is entered in the 100 hurdles, 400 hurdles and 4x400 event.

Patria Norman, a junior from Spartanburg is entered in the 200, 4x100 and 4x400 events.

Sade Gray, a senior at Spartanburg is entered in the shot put and discus with teammate and senior LaTricia Jones entered in the discus and shot put. Gray finished sixth in the girls 4A discus at the State Championships.
