Clemson's indoor facility will be the site host of high school meet on Jan. 22. The original date was Jan. 23.
Meet management statement:
"We have been working very closely with Clemson University and their staff to coordinate this event. We encountered some scheduling issues due to work being done on their new golf facility. Originally we had hoped to host the event on Jan. 22 but it looked as though this would not be possible due to the construction.
We have since been able to work out the date of Jan. 22, 2011 and secured the facility for that date. It is never easy to change an event date on such short notice but we feel this will allow more competitors the opportunity to participate. Several states have rules that prohibited them from participating on Sundays.
We are very excited to be bringing back indoor high school track and field to Clemson University and we look forward to your participation. It is a work in progress and we hope to not only host this event but several more in the future."
