This prediction is on the Heathwood Hall girls Cross Country team. Last year they were led by top runners Brooke Grice (region Champion, SCISA 3A state Champion) and Sydney Ellen (region runner up, 3rd place at state) who both had really good seasons. This team is one you could say was a very suprising team to a lot of people in the state because how good they were. They won one of the biggest races in the state this year, which was the Coaches Classic Girls Championship Race and that really showed everyone how good this team actually was. They even had newspaper articles written about them this year because of how good they were. They arent losing any of their top runners this year so they should be even better this year than they were last year. They were the runner ups at the SCISA 3A state finals last year and like last year they are expected to challenge for the title again this year. This team is no longer a surprise team and everyone knows how good they are now, so expect big things from them this year. There top runners this year should be Brooke Grice, Sydney Ellen, Ellie Ridley (9th at state, 4th at region), Kate Nassab (8th at region, 43rd at state), and Rachel Whitaker (29th at state, 13th at region). I think this team will either be 1st or 2nd at this years state race, led by another state championship from Brooke Grice and a 2nd or 3rd finish from Sydney Ellen.
