Jack ran the course in 16:08 at region yesterday. It was his first time at Cane Bay's course, but he was looking for a 15:30 or so... somewhere around there.

I thought he was going to get it, but maybe it was because of their workouts prior to this? Course may be slightly slower or longer? Idk, but it was a surprise.

But HH did go 1-2-3-4 for the guys. Congrats to them for winning the region, and they should win state this year again!!

I hope you have looked at Lexington's Region times. Team avg 16:13. And JV 1st place time was 16:xx. I wouldn't count my chickens before they hatch. Not trying to be mean but Lexington has the advantage this year.

Lexington is 4-A, and Hilton Head is 3-A; they can both be state champs =p

And as for the Cane Bay course, it is significantly longer. Their 3 mile to 3.1 is long. You enter a gate and run to the track, and then you do an additional 300 meters around the track.. It added about 25-30 seconds to everyone's times (that is if Cane Bay didn't change their course since last Wednesday)

Sorry Im used to Hilton Head being 4-a. I thought they where 4-A. Guess I need to pay attention. If you where to throw everyone together from all classes I believe Lexington holds the upper handle on every team in the state though.

You should check Wendy's results from three weeks ago (hint HH has a faster team average, even though times don't matter in cross country). No one has an upper hand. It really doesn't matter because they probably won't race each other again.
