TIME SCHEDULE: High school, collegiate and Blue Shoes Mile races – see attached tentative schedule
# OF ENTRIES: A limit of 3 athletes and 1 relay team per event for all high school teams. Colleges may enter an unlimited number of athletes and relay teams per event. This will be a sanctioned meet. NOTE: the pole vault event will not be contested at this meet.
ENTRY: All Entries (high school, collegiate, and Blue Shoes Mile) will be done online at www.directathletics.com . Any school not listed with DirectAthletics or not having an account with DirectAthletics must contact them prior to registering your athletes.
ENTRY FEE: High school entry fee: $80 per team* ($160 if entering boys and girls) or $10 per individual.
Collegiate entry fee: $240 per team* for USTFCCCA members ($480 if entering men and women) and $300 per team* for non-USTFCCCA members (or $600 for both men and women) or $20 per individual.
*NOTE: A team consists of 8 or more athletes per gender for high schools, 12 or more athletes per gender for college USTFCCCA members, and 15 or more athletes per gender for college non-USTFCCCA members. Men’s and women’s teams from the same institution are considered separate teams. The fee is an entry fee not a competition fee. Fees are based on the number of entries and not on the number of athletes who compete. No shows are not entitled to a refund. All fees must be paid by credit card when entries are paid through DirectAthletics. If payment is made separately checks can be made out to: Furman University Track & Field and mailed to:

ATTENTION COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES - As part of an initiative by the NCAA Division I, II, and III Track & Field Executive Committees of the USTFCCCA to promote interest and excitement for our sport, the 2013 Furman University Blue Shoes Invitational Track Meet will offer preferred entry fees for USTFCCCA Members. Our regular team entry fee will be $300, and our preferred team entry fee for USTFCCCA members will be $240. You can check your current USTFCCCA membership status at http://www.ustfccca.org/membership-status. If you are not a member, it’s easy to join. Just contact Mandi Magill at Mandi@ustfccca.org for access to your program’s online USTFCCCA account, where you can pay 2013 USTFCCCA membership dues.
ENTRY DEADLINE: ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED ON-LINE NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT ON MONDAY APRIL 8TH, 2013. ANY CHANGES MADE TO THE ENTRIES AFTER APRIL 8TH WILL RESULT IN A $10 CHARGE PER NAME.

SCORING: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (8 places)
AWARDS: Awards will be given to the top three finishers in the high school events only.
RESULTS: Get results for all races at www.furmanpaladins.com
PACKET PICK UP: Packets can be picked up beginning at 8:00am near the finish line at the track.
WEIGH-IN: Weigh-in of throwing implements will be open until 1 hour prior to the start of each event.
PARKING: Free parking will be available at the facility.
ADMISSION: Admission is free.
LOCKER ROOMS: None available.
TRAINERS: Trainers will be provided by Furman University
