Meet Information
2016 Pre-Region 2-AAA Meet
This is the Pre-Region Get to Know You meet for the new SC 2-AAA Region which includes Berea, Carolina, Emerald, Palmetto, Powdersville, and Southside High Schools. The 2016 Pre-Region and Region meets will be held at Palmetto High School this year.
DATE: Tuesday, August 30
TIMES: 5:30 PM Varsity Girls (Limited to 8 runners)
6:00 PM Varsity Boys (Limited to 8 runners)
6:30 PM Combined JV Girls & Boys (Unlimited runners)
COURSE: This is a 95% grass and trail course. It is a looped course that includes a 1/3 mile woods section and one short, but strenuous uphill section. The remainder of the loop is a gentle down-hill grassy area, and ending on the track. It will be well-marked, and both mile splits will be indicated and times called. It is located around the track facility behind Palmetto High School, Williamston, SC.
TIMING: The race will be timed by SprintTimer/RaceTab and reported to scrunners.com. A copy of times will be made available for coaches before you leave and will also be emailed the following morning.
OTHER INFO: We are excited about the first year of the new region and look forward to getting to know all of the new member schools. Further information about parking, registration, and course map will be emailed to you closer to the meet date.
