Woodmont junior Aaron Ramirez, the Class AAA 2008 state cross country champion, was named state cross country Gatorade runner of the year earlier today, the organization announced.

The South Carolina Association of Women's Sports honored top cross country state meet runners of each South Carolina High School League classification Sunday. 

Seneca's Tameka Jackson, the Class AAA state cross country champion, was named state girls cross country Gatorade Athlete of the Year, it was announced yesterday.
