Tiger Paw Invitational 2010

Sophomore Lee Gilmer placed third with a time of 4:16.39 in the mile run to lead the Furman indoor track and field teams Friday in the first day of the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C.

The Coastal Carolina University women's indoor track and field team concluded day one of the Tiger Paw Invitational with nine top-10 finishes, including a win in the 60-meter dash by Ikeiylah Brown with a season-best time of 7.50.

The Georgia Tech track & field teams had a successful first night of competition at the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C. on Friday night. In all, five Yellow Jacket athletes won events on the night.

Sophomore Lucy Taylor set a new school record for the UAB track and field team Friday evening during the first day of the Tiger Paw Invitational hosted by Clemson. Taylor clocked a time of 2:59.68, breaking the previous 1000m indoor record time of 2:59.90 set by Whitney Mays in 2006.
