Region I Cross Country Championships

The 2010 Region I Cross Country Championships will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Loriella Park, 10910 Leavells Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407
Tentative Time Schedule:
2:00 p.m. Coaches Meeting and course walk-through
3:00 p.m. Boys Varsity Race
3:45 p.m. Girls Varsity Race
4:30 p.m. Awards
Awards:
Team Trophies to the Varsity Boys and Girls Region I Champions
Top 15 Boys and Girls runners will receive All-Region Medals
Top 15 Boys and Girls runners and top 4 teams in both races will advance to the State meet on Saturday, November 13 at Great Meadows in the Plains, VA.
Entries:
We will be using Hy-Tek to score the race this year. We will need your athletes entered with name, gender, and class so that all entries are uniform. I prefer entries to be faxed or emailed (on excel spreadsheet) no later than Monday, November 1, 2010. FAX: 540-786-1176. EMAIL: nate@varunner.com
Parking and Spectators Information:
Buses can unload and/or park in the back parking lot (second one on the right, behind the pool house). **Coaches need to inform parents and spectators that they need to stay off the soccer and baseball fields while watching the race.
Region I Championships shirts will be on sale for $12.00 to pay for meet expenses and raise money for the Chancellor High Cross Country Booster Club. We appreciate the support.
Again, Coaches please be sure to fax or e-mail your entries by Monday, November 1 to allow time for computer entry and the completion of the region meet program. We are looking forward to a competitive meet.
