Mary Kathryn Gibson is only 11-years-old but on Friday night she ran with the college girls. Gibson has been running for years and said she was not nervous at all racing aginst the older girls.
"Before I run my dad gives me a strategy so I know what to do," said Gibson confidently.
Gibson not only tore it up in her heat of the 3K but also ran the mile earlier in the day running 5:38. She will be hitting the track a few more times this indoor season before going into outdoor. Check out the whole interview with Mary Kathryn and her dad Rick above.
