The 3,200s under the lights were smoking on Friday night at Millersville for the Cy Fritz Open. In the girls' race, four girls dropped times that fell within the top top of Pennsylvania, two of which were sub-11 minutes.
In the end, Warwick's Kate Dickow picked up the win, working past Hershey's Andrea Demko late in the race. Dickow came home in 10:57.74, which puts her at PA#3 on the season. Demko took second in 10:58.88 (PA#5). Northeastern's Maddie Warrender ran a terrific race to take third in 11:00.80 (PA#8). Maddie McLain of Eastern York, who won the 2K steeplechase earlier in the day, returned to take fourth in 11:01.38 (PA#9).
