Raven Saunders traveling to Eugene for USATF Jr. Championships

Burke alumna Raven Saunders, indoor and outdoor national record holder, is competing Saturday in the shot put at the USATF Junior Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene. 

Saunders won shot put at New Balance Nationals last month and was named female most valuable of the meet. 

Spartanburg alumnus Nate Gordon (Georgetown) is in heat two of the 800-meter run tonight.
