​Providence Invitational: Riverside girls team favorite; Gilman, Dominick near top for boys

Saturday's Providence Invitational at McAlpine Park in Charlotte has four girls in-state teams listed in the top 10 virtual meet scoring.

Leading the virtual meet is Class AAAA 2014 state champion Riverside with 60 points. Dutch Fork is predicted to finish third, Hilton Head fifth and Eastside 10th.

Individually, Riverside's Cate Ambrose and Ashley Fallow have top five times going into the 5,000-meter run at McAlpine Park, home of Wendy's Invitational and Foot Locker South.

Times used for the virtual meet are from the 2014 season.

Hilton Head's Ben Gilman and Dutch Fork's Avery Dominick are ranked three and four, respectively for the individual title. The Seahawks and Riverside are projected to finish in the top five as teams. Dutch Fork and Lexington can also finish in the top 10.
