University of South Carolina track and field coach Curtis Frye has been named president of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Frye was announced as president Tuesday at the annual association's convention in Phoenix.
Frye, in his 13th year as head coach at USC, resumes the role Jan. 1.
