What does it mean to be named to the Shrine Bowl Run team and helping the hospital?
It is such an honor to named to the Shrine Bowl Run team. To be a small part in helping such an inspiring institution is truly humbling.

What did you hear about the Shrine Bowl Run before this year?
It's part of the end of season excitement for cross country runners to see who has made the Shrine Bowl Run team and I am honored to be participating this year.

What do you hope to experience during the event?
Although I am excited about the run itself, I am most excited to have the opportunity to visit the hospital and the children.

How are you preparing to run with a football?
Well, I am not a stranger to football. I have played pick up touch football with my brothers and friends since I was very young. I have also played flag football at my school on several occasions. I will admit to having run a some extra mileage this week with a football.

How would you rate your senior season?
I had a pretty good senior season, I hit some milestones like making the all region team. I will definately miss my teammates though.

What future goals do you have?
Well, I plan to complete college and become a physical therapist.

Have you made the decision to compete at the next level? Please explain.
Yes, I have signed to run with Charleston Southern University. I am really excited to compete at the next level. Signing day was especially exciting and I can't wait to be part of a collegiate team.

How did you get involved with the sport and when?
I started running in the seventh grade. I tried out for our high school cross country team. The coaches and team mates were so supportive and encouraging, making the varsity team was the beginning of my love for running.

No.

How have you seen the sport change in the state? Please explain.
The schools have grown and the addition of
Class AAAAA has been the biggest change I have seen.

What was your motivation for your final XC season?
I wanted to run a personal best and help my team qualify for State.

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
I really don't know yet. I'm still pretty young...and it's an awfully big world...
