What was your most memorable race/competition?
My most memorable race was the 200m in the finals of 2019 at state.

Out of all your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?
Out of all my high school accomplishments this year stood out the most because my teammates including me, we put our all into winning state and we showed people who doubted us we could win and achieve big things.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your athletic career in high school?
I would change how I practiced and continue to do the races I first started doing my first year of track which was my Freshman year.  Some people need to get pushed to become something great and you should always finish something you started.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
Trying to get speed out of my body, because everybody isn't born fast. It took me some time to become great at what I do. Practice makes perfect.

What will you miss the most?
My track team and my coach.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
Take everything serious, not everything is a joke. Listen with your ears not your mouth. Focus and always stay alert for accomplishments. Be a leader so you can influence others to become great.

How have your coaches influenced your performances and your life goals?
He trained me really hard and showed me anything's possible when you put your mind to it. He pushed me to my limits and always told me to keep going.

What kind of impact did your family have on your time as a high school student-athlete?
They were always on me about my grades, academics always came first.

What are your college or post-high school plans?
Run track and graduate with several degrees from Claflin University

What do you hope to achieve after high school?
Get my degree in computer science, and make a huge impact on the world.

Do you see yourself coaching in the future? Please explain and if so, what level and why?
I'll coach the younger people after me and if I have a son I'll coach him hard and give him chances I never had because I want to see others be at their best and become great.

Shout-outs?
First I want to thank God for giving me this opportunity to run and I want to thank my mom for always being there for me. I want to thank my family for always showing me support and to my Coach Mr. Von Allmen - I want to thank him for seeing something in me that I didn't see in myself along with the other coaches. And, to my track team, remember it's not what you have to do it's what you need to do.

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
I would give everybody some money to get through the hard times so they won't have to worry about struggling, because it's hard and exhausting when you need to come up on top all  by yourself.
