The final athlete rounding out the field chasing the 400 state record is Aly Conyers of South Carolina and formerly of South County high school. She is making her return to the state in great shape and the ability to run sub 54.
This weekend she will be squaring off with Aaliyah Pyatt, Madison Whyte, and Michaela Rose. This race should be quite the foot race down the homestretch and could see Conyers with a strong push at the finish knowing her great strength over 500m.
