St. Joseph's coach Marie Kernell is the latest person to receive the honor of nomination to the South Carolina Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.
"Being nominated and subsequently voted into the South Carolina Cross Country and Track Coaches Association Hall of Fame is quite the honor," Kernell told scrunners.com "As a board member, I had the privilege of participating in reading the bios of the coaches who were nominated and was always very impressed with the accomplishments of the nominees. I never dreamed I would be among this elite group. I am honored and delighted."
