SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Head Coach Bryan Jackson announced the 2010 indoor and outdoor track and field schedules on Thursday.

Wofford will open the 2010 season with a trip to nearby Clemson on January 8-9 for the Clemson Invitational. It will be the first of three times that the Terriers compete at Clemson’s indoor facility. The teams will travel there February 12-13 for the Tiger Paw Invitational and again February 25-26 for the Southern Conference Indoor Championship.

The Terriers will also make the trip to Chapel Hill, N.C. to participate in the UNC Classic on January 23.

The teams will kick off the 2010 outdoor season with a trip to Charlotte, N.C. to take part in the 49er Classic, hosted by UNC Charlotte on March 20. Following the outdoor opener, the teams travel to Rock Hill, S.C. for the Asics Winthrop Invitational on March 27, then to Durham, N.C. for the Duke Invitational April 2-3.

Wofford will also participate in the 2010 Furman Invitational in nearby Greenville, S.C. on April 10 before heading to Boone, N.C. for the 2010 Southern Conference Outdoor Championship, hosted by Appalachian State University.
