JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Wofford men’s and women’s track & field teams competed at the Niswonger Invitational Saturday, setting three school records in the meet hosted by ETSU.

On the women’s side, freshman Niki Klasnic set a new school and freshman record with a time of 5:35.91 in the one mile run. Fellow freshman Emily Gothberg recorded a time of 1:04.10 in the 400 meter run, beating the school and freshmen records she set just last week at the Clemson Invitational.

Freshman Andrea Kelsey finished 26th in the 5000 meter run for the women, clocking a time of 19:14.89, with sophomore Caroline Liddy close behind in 31st place in the event.

For the men, freshman Trey Parker established a new school and freshman record time of 15:35.81 in the 5000 meter event, placing 20th out of 64 participants.

The teams will next compete at the Tiger Paw Invitational on February 12-13 at Clemson University.
