MileSplit SC features Spartanburg cross country runner Ensley Dyar (2030) in this week's future stars.
The Viking finished 14th in the Wendy's Invitational white girls race with a personal best 18:50. This is Dyar's second year running high school cross country.
The Spartanburg team competed in today's Bob Jenkins SCTCCCA Coaches Classic. Next up is the Region 2-5A Championships Oct. 22 at Dorman.
Dyar is the Vikings' number two runner with a MileSplit South Carolina ranking of 28th. See the South Carolina girls cross country rankings here.
"Ensley possesses a great work ethic and is fiercely competitive. Combine those two traits with God-given talent and it is clear to see that she has a high ceiling in the sports of cross country as well as track. Her personality allows her to seamlessly interact with novice and elite runners, helping to maintain a great team culture." - Spartanburg cross country coach Jack Todd
