Northwestern High School Trojan Tiaerra McLaurin signed a National Letter of Intent with Louisiana State University on Wednesday. McLaurin, one of the top sprinters in South Carolina will join the Tigers in the fall.
LSU is a D-I member of the Southeastern Conference.
At the 2004 State Meet, McLaurin, finished first in the 100-meters and second as a team in the 4x100-meter relay.
As a team Northwestern captured the 2003 and 2004 4A state titles.
