Wren High distance runner Sunday Ford has signed a National Letter of Intent to run collegiately at Clemson University starting in the fall semester.
Ford will join former Wren star Hannah Wright at Clemson. Wright is currently a sophomore at Clemson.
Ford finished second at the 2003 AAA State Championships and second at the 2004 AAAA State Championships in Cross Country.
Ford captured titles in the girls AAA 1600 and 3200-meter events at the 2003 State Track & Field Championships. Ford also holds the 14-15 state 5k road race record of 18:41.
Clemson University is a D-I member of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
