Baer, a three-time recipient, is a co-captain for the men's team. He led the team at every race this season with his best 8k finish coming at the 2010 Big South Conference Cross Country Championship. Baer finished in 27:44 and finished just six seconds off his fastest time ever. At the Winthrop Fall Classic, he finished in the top-ten with a school record 6k time of 20:39 leading the men's team to a second place finish. Baer will graduate in May with a degree in biology.

Parkman, also a co-captain, earned the award for the first time. Over the past four years she has solidified herself as a quiet leader among the team. This season she improved her times weekly and finished second for PC at the Winthrop Fall Classic. Parkman also set a collegiate best, 23:00, in her last collegiate race at the 2010 Big South Conference Cross Country Championship. She will graduate in May with a degree in English and a minor in secondary education.

Liberty swept the ultimate honors with Josh Edmonds and Jennifer Klugh earning the Men's and Women's Student-Athlete of the Year awards.
