This Week's Nominees:
Julian Brown, Myrtle Beach (South Carolina): Won both the high jump and long jump at the Horry County Championship, clearing 7-0 to take the high jump title over a field of 10 competitors. His long jump mark of 21-9.42 earned second place in a field of 26 and ranks him as the #3 junior in the state.
Torrean Davis, Spartanburg (South Carolina): Captured the long jump at the Spartanburg County Invitational with a leap of 24-1.37, winning by a comfortable margin in a field of 28. Also placed third in the 200 meters (22.01) and fourth in the 100 meters (10.85) at the same meet.
Jackson Wright, May River (South Carolina): Clocked 1:53.00 to win the 800 meters at the Lowcountry Championship, taking the title in a field of 21 runners. The time ranks him as the #2 junior in South Carolina in the event.
Johnathan Davis, Pelion (South Carolina): Ran 10.54 to capture the 100 meters at the Senior Night - RNE Home Meet #2, winning in a loaded field of 38 sprinters. The time makes him the #6 junior in the state in the event.
Walker Ferguson, Mauldin (South Carolina): Threw 198-5.75 to win the javelin at the Greenville County Varsity Championships, taking first place in a field of 30 competitors. The mark establishes him as the top junior in South Carolina in the event.
