Important notes
STARTING LINE
--Runners should be at the starting line 10 minutes prior to race time!
--Make sure ALL of your runners are at the line for check-in!
--Coaches, parents, friends, etc. must leave starting area when check-in begins!
STARTING BOXES
--List is attached (4 files - 1 for each classification)
--Assigned by random draw
--Make sure your athletes are in their correct box on Saturday!
UNIFORMS
--All runners must be in MATCHING school-issued uniforms!
COMPRESSION / UNDER-ARMOUR
--Must be SOLID COLOR (no stripes, no designs, no camo, etc.)
--If worn by more than one runner, then they must have the SAME solid color!
(This rule does NOT apply to sports bras or socks)
JEWELRY
--None
PROFANITY
--None
PARKING
--Parking will be $5 per car! LET YOUR TEAM PARENTS KNOW!!
TEAM TENTS
--All team tents should be in the designated area around the awards podium
--Please do NOT put any tents in the parking area!
ALTERNATES / SUBSTITUTIONS (for full teams that qualified)
--Teams may sub an alternate if necessary.
--Completely fill out the substitution form in your packet!!
--Bring completed form to the PACKET PICK-UP TABLE
--Substitutions are allowed up to 15 minutes before start time! NO LATER!!
**Individuals that qualified (whose team did not) may not be substituted for**
WEATHER
--We ARE watching the weather!
--We WILL race on Saturday!
--If lightning occurs, we MAY have to delay and shift race times. If so, teams must report to their BUS! Teams may NOT remain under tents if there is lightning! (this is for YOUR athletes' safety!)
GROUNDS
--Please remind athletes to NOT tamper with the Sandhills facility/grounds in ANY way!!
RESTROOMS
--Port-A-Johns will be available behind the starting line AND near the team tent area
