[b]INFORMATION:[/b]
Any Independent/Private High School is welcome to run in the High School Championship Races.
Each race will be capped at 35 teams.
[b]DATE:[/b] Saturday, September 12th, 2015
[b]RACE SITE:[/b] Furman University Golf Course. 100% grass, 2k-looped course (college), 1 mile looped course (high school), and spectator friendly. The course will be European style with logs and hay bales.

8:30am Collegiate Women 6K
9:15am Collegiate Men 8K
10:00am High School Girls Championship 5k
10:45am High School Boy’s Championship 5k
11:30am High School Girl’s JV Race
12:15pm High School Boy’s JV Race
1:00pm Awards Presentation
[b]# OF ENTRIES: [/b]High school teams can run up to 9 individuals in each varsity race. High school JV races may have an unlimited number of entries per team. Collegiate teams may have unlimited number of entries in their races. Unattached high school runners may only compete in the Blue Shoes Open Race. This will be a sanctioned meet.
[b]ENTRY: [/b]All entries for the high school will be done online through Milesplit at milesplit.com. All entries for the college races will be done online through Direct Athletics and directathletics.com. Unattached runners competing in the Blue Shoes 5k can register the day of the meet or enter at go-greenevents.com. Cost is $25 per unattached athlete. DO NOT EMAIL YOUR ENTRIES TO US.
[b]ENTRY FEE:[/b] High School Entry Fee:
$125 per gender (5-20 athletes per gender)*
$250 for both genders (5-20 athletes per gender)
$175 per gender (21+ athletes per gender)
$350 for both genders (21+ athletes per gender)
[b]Collegiate Entry Fee: [/b]
$175 per team
$350 for both men and women
All individuals registering for the Blue Shoes Open 5k will be charged a $25 entry fee.
[b]*NOTE: [/b]A team consists of 5 or more athletes per gender. Men’s and women’s teams from the same institution are considered separate teams. The fee is entry fee not a competition fee. Fees are based on the number of entries and on the number of athletes who compete. No shows are not entitled to a refund.

Please identify your school name in the memo line of the check and note whether the check is for male, female, or both. MAILED ENTRY FEE MUST BE POSTMARKED BY SEPTEMBER 5th, 2015.

[b]ENTRY DEADLINE:[/b] Entries must be submitted online no later than midnight on Tuesday September 9th, 2014. No changes will be allowed after the entry deadline.

AWARDS: [/b]Awards will be given to the top ten finishers in the college & high school championship races.
[b]RESULTS:[/b] Get results for all races at www.furmanpaladins.com or ptgrouponline.com
[b]PACKET PICK UP: [/b]Packets can be picked up beginning at 6:30am near the finish line at the golf course. The packet will include course map, timing chips, bibs, and pins. Bibs must be worn on the front of the jersey. Timing chips must be returned after the race or there will be a $25 charge per missing chip.
[b]ADMISSION:[/b] An admission fee of $5.00 for adults will be collected on Saturday morning at the spectator’s entrance (lake side gate). Of course, the competitors, coaches and trainers will NOT be charged. There is no charge for children under the age of 12.
[b]PARKING:[/b] Free parking will be available at the facility. Please enter campus through main entrance off of Poinsett Highway and follow signs for XC Meet.
