Timing will be done using chips by The Perfect Timing Group.
Cross Country Coaches,
This is the 5th year for the Ponds Cross Country Invitational. The invitational is again being held at the Ponds Conservancy trails in Summerville off rt. 17A. Race starts and finishes in the field adjacent to the Amphitheater. Please remember that no one should play in or near the pond. And throwing anything into the ponds in forbidden. Bring bug spray as there are plenty of bugs to go around. Pick up all trash when you leave.
Top three Varsity teams will receive plaques, while top 15 varsity runners will receive medals. Awards will be given to top 10 JV runners.
Event t-shirts will be available.
Schedule:
9:00am Varsity Girls (limit 7)
9:30am Varsity Boys (limit 7)
10:00am JV Girls (limit 15)
10:30am JV Boys (limit 15)
11:15 Awards
Course: The 5K course is run almost entirely on trails that are 5-8 feet wide with smooth flat surface. Course will be marked for each mile.
Parking: There is NO street Parking on hundred oaks. You will be directed where to park.
BUSES: Do not drop off athletes at Amphitheater as you will block traffic. Go to YMCA to park and your athletes will have to walk a short distance to field area.
Entries are closed. You should have entered on line. If you have not paid please bring your check to the race. $75 for boys and girls, $40 for single gender team, $10 per individual.
