3A State Qualifier: As soon as possible after your region meet (within 24 hours), send the Hy-Tek backup file to sfrye@spartanburg3.org To get backup, go to file and backup. Save where you can find it and attach it to the email. Send the entire file, not the qualifiers. When you email your backup, please give me a cell phone number where I can reach you if I have a question. Keep all of your meet sheets near in case we have questions.

Make sure to check for athletes that are entered in too many events before your meet especially with the relay rule.
Make sure that you clerk each relay by getting the name of each athlete that is planning to run.
After each relay, go into Hy-Tek relay menu and move the 4 athletes that ran into the top 4 places and the alternates into positions 5 and 6. You must do this for all the teams that ran, not just the ones that qualify.
If a relay team is disqualified for some reason, make sure that you DQ in results and shown in the relay menu the 4 athletes that were on the track as well as the alternates in places 5 and 6.
Please delete any athlete that is no longer eligible as an alternate for a relay at the qualifier because he/she entered/competed in 4 events.

Track Information: Only flats or 1/4 inch spikes will be allowed on the track surface.
Local Rules: 1. All athletes and coaches must enter the track area at the 50-yard line. Please be careful not to interfere with any race taking place.

2. Once the meet begins, all warm-ups must be made outside the track. Only the events under call will be allowed in or on the track. Athletes must leave the track promptly after their event has been run.

3. Field event equipment will be measured and marked for standards. Throwing implements are weighed under the scoreboard. If an implement or pole is not legal, it will be impounded and returned at the conclusion of the event.

4. Athletes must be on time for calls, or they will be scratched. Athletes are to be at the line at 2nd call. Final call is time for the event to begin, not time to check in.

6. No electronic devices will be allowed inside the infield or on the track. This includes Walkman’s, CD players, MP3 players, video cameras, radios, etc.

7. Athletes in more than one event must follow the rules about reporting to the judges of each event and request to be excused to go compete in another event.

8. All S.C. league rules will be followed as well as Federation rules.

9. Failure to follow any of the mentioned rules may result in disqualification.
