CANCELLED IN ORDER TO HOST MIKE MOORE LAKE MURRAY INVITATIONAL
Irmo will be hosting the 1st Inaugural Irmo Relays
this cross country season at Irmo Middle School on September 22nd. This
meet will feature a different style of racing that will bring in the
fun of relay races to the cross country course. The meet will include
the varsity 5x2000m relay, JV 5x2000m, and the JV open 2,000m. In the
varsity race each school can provide two teams of 5, an "A" and a "B"
team. The top "A" and "B" teams will be awarded and an overall winner
will be determined by combining the times of the "A" and "B" teams. The
JV race will consist of one team of 5 with awards given to the top
teams. The open 2,000m is planned to be mixed gender (as long as numbers
allow) race where the top males and females will be awarded.
As this is our first year hosting this meet, we are limiting entries to 10 boys and 10 girls teams.
Currently we have three teams (including ourselves) already signed up
for this meet.The cost of this meet will be $55.00 per gender or $100.00
