Course:
The course will be run at the Sandy Flat Quarry It will be an out and back course on a soft gravel / packed powder surface. There is no asphalt on this course with a start and finish area on grass. This is the most unique venue of any Cross Country Course in South Carolina. There is an observation deck overlooking the Quarry that gives spectators a great view of most of the course. Music will be played throughout the races.
Bus Parking:
Buses will park in the parking lot of the Business off of Fews Bridge Road.
Spectator Parking:
Spectator parking is in the parking lots off of Fews Bridge Road. Please inform all parents, spectators, etc., to enter through the gate. $5 per car admission fee. Please tell your parents and fans not to park on the side of the road, it will create a hazardous situation. We have parking for over 600 cars onsite.
Restrooms:
There will be ample Porta-Potties available in the parking lot area..
Participation:
Open to any 7th -12th grade runners.
Sanctioned by the SCHSL.
We will also have an Open Race.
All participating Runners must sign a waiver form provided by Hansons.
Team Tents:
Team tents may be set up in the grassy area around the parking lot. Trash bags are provided with your team packet, please help clean-up your team area before you leave.
Awards:
The top 3 varsity teams will receive a one of kind unique handmade trophy
The top 3 JV teams will also receive a one of a kind trophy.
Varsity races- Top 10 individuals will receive medals.
JV races- Top 10 individuals will receive medals in the chute.
Open Race: open to all parents, Coaches friends and family. The top male/female finishers will receive medals. You can register for the Open Race at the Meet for $10.

You do not have to declare JV or Varsity
ENTRY FEE:
$50 per team
Open Race will sign up on-site $10.00 per runner
