CCU Shamrock Invitational 2010

The University of Iowa women's track and field team kicked off the 2010 outdoor season heading east for two days of competition at the Coastal Carolina University Shamrock Invitational. Iowa left Myrtle Beach, SC, earning three event titles and placing numerous athletes in the all-time record books.

CONWAY, S.C. (3/21/10)—The Colgate University men’s track and field team opened the outdoor season with a successful performance at the Shamrock Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina University.

Becca Pilkerton won the pole vault to lead the Gophers to five event victories at the outdoor season opener.

Select members of the CofC men's cross country team competed in various middle-distance and distance events at the Shamrock Invitational.

Freshman Jelain McArthur broke two school records as she led College of Charleston track & field at the Shamrock Invitational.
