Complete Results

CLEMSON, S.C. – Competing at the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C., the Wofford men’s and women’s track and field teams set five new school records, three on the women’s side and two for the men.

For the women, freshman Niki Klasnic established a school record time of 2:25.64 in the 800 meter run, placing 28th. Klasnic also set a school record in the one mile run, clocking in with a 5:26.27 time. Both times are also freshman records.

Fellow freshman Andrea Kelsey ran the 5000 meter run in a time of 18:29.94, beating the previous school record by more than 30 seconds.

Senior Paul Vecchione led the Terrier men, setting a Wofford record in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:04.15. Freshman Trey Parker established a school record in the 3000 meter run, finishing in a time of 9:06.85.

The track and field teams will next compete at the Southern Conference Indoor Championships, held in Clemson, S.C. on February 25-26.
