New for 2006:
* First year on the new Ravenel Bridge. This bridge is tougher, higher, and
longer than the old bridges. The single span is 2.5 miles long, and rises
nearly 200 feet.
* Due to the reconfiguration of the course, the new event will be a 10K for ALL
runners AND walkers. For the first time, all entrants (runners and walkers) will
be given a souvenir championchip (which does the timing).
* The event will be capped at 50,000. Last year, we sold out early, at a total
of over 42,000 registrations.
