Meet Information –
The Eastside High School track has an 8 lane rubber surface and runways. The shot put sector is wood boarded with small stones in the landing area. The sand pits are filled with fine white Columbia sand. The discus area is behind the stadium which spectators can easily watch from the top of the visitors’ stands. Restroom are easily accessible behind the concession stand on the home side and just outside the 200 start area on the visitors’ side. We have a fully automatic timing system for quick results. Eastside has hosted many major meets in the past including the Chick-fila Games the Kevin Logan JV Meet and the Greenville County Championships. All of these meets have over 18 teams and over 1000 athletes in attendance. We promise a well-run and efficient meet.
Because the Eastside team and coaches will be at the 4A Qualifying meet, we will need help in officiating the field events and the relay exchange zones. Your Region Meet Director will be given assignments to distribute. Your cooperation is need and expected.

*All buses should park in the west lot off of Kimbrell Road (tennis courts are close to road and parking beside it). This lot will be closed to spectator parking until 10:00am so that all buses have ample time to get into this lot. Please park along the right-hand curb beginning near the exit. There is plenty of auto parking on the east side of the school.
*we will charge $5 for spectators. Athletes will have to enter with their coach or with their assigned number.
*All results will be uploaded as soon as possible to live.milesplt.com and announced over the PA system
*Athletes will be required to wear a number on the front of their jersey.
*ONLY Quarter inch (1/4”) spikes or less are allowed.
*Horizontal Jumps and Throws will get 3 trials. And the Top 6 will get an additional 3 attempts.
*Starting heights for the Pole Vault and High Jump will be the lowest qualifying mark, minus one height, from the Region Championships.
*All lane races will be sections on time. Sections will be decided by times received from Region Championships. The second section will be the fastest.
*Field event check-in will occur at the event site.
*All running events, except the 100 100/110 Hurdles and 200 will be clerked on the infield near the pole vault pit.
*Check-in for running must be complete 5 minutes before the start of the race.
*Tents in visitor stands only or on top of hills surrounding the track

Athletes in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put and Discus will get three trials. The top six will get three more.
Running Events – Girls followed by Boys
12:00 – 4 x 100 Relay (1 section each)
12:15 – 4 x 800 Relay (1 section each)
12:50 – 100/110 Meter Hurdles (2 sections on time each)
1:05 – 100 Meters (2 sections on time each)
1:15 – 1600 Meters (1 section each)
1:35 – 400 Meters (2 sections on time each)
1:55 – 400 Hurdles (2 sections on time each)
2:15 – 800 Meters (1 section each)
2:30 – 200 Meters (2 sections on time each)
2:45 – 3200 Meters (1 section each)
3:20 – 4 x 400 Relay (2 sections on time each)

In the event of the threat of bad weather, this scheduled may be changed or cancelled. A rolling schedule is possible. Make sure that all involved know that the schedule could go much faster if the weather dictates.
