Freshman Mady Crabill ran a gutsy race to the end, out-kicking another runner to earn a 9th place spot. She was the only Conway runner to break into the top ten at the CCU Invitational. She was followed by Ellis Spearman in 18th place, and Anna Crosby in 29th. Jessica Holt and Rachel Holt rounded out the top 5 for the Lady Tigers.

The Conway Tigers XC team faced Loris in a dual meet. It was the first home meet of the season, and weather conditions were close to perfect.
Girls: Our girls were victorious with a final score of 25 (Conway) to 30 (Loris). They took the top three individual places, plus 9th and 10th place. Loris girls took 4th through 8th places.

The boys and girls cross country teams competed in their first meet of the season on Thursday, September 3. The meet was hosted by Green Sea Floyds High School. Other teams attending were Loris and North Myrtle Beach. For 2/3 of our runners, it was their first 5k race ever. Here are the results.
